Il progetto nasce da un’idea del sassofonista veneziano Alberto Vianello, il quale trova nella musica del pianista jazz Statunitense Tadd Dameron, uno tra i più interessanti compositori del periodo bebop in America, la giusta ispirazione per dare vita ad un nuovo ed originale lavoro musicale.
Il trio è composto oltre che da Alberto Vianello al sax tenore anche da Giorgio Panagin al contrabbasso e Francesco Franzoi alla batteria. L’idea musicale alla base del progetto di Alberto Vianello consiste nel ripensare le melodie tematiche di Tadd Dameron, inserendole in un nuovo contesto, arricchito da arrangiamenti originali, valorizzando l’aspetto compositivo del trio 'pianoless'.

The project was born from an idea of the venetian saxophonist Alberto Vianello, who finds in the music of the american jazz pianist Tadd Dameron, one of the most interesting composers of the bebop period in America, the right inspiration to give life to a new and original musical work.
The trio is composed by Alberto Vianello on tenor sax, Giorgio Panagin on double bass and Francesco Franzoi on drums. Alberto's musical idea consists of rethinking the thematic melodies of Tadd Dameron, placing them in a new context enriched by original arrangements, enhancing the compositional aspect of the trio 'pianoless'
